Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer seeking a new challenge?

A prominent independent Oil & Gas organization is in search of a skilled Mechanical Engineer to enhance their team.

Your contributions will be crucial in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of various mechanical systems, including piping, valves, pumps, and engine-driven generator sets.


This is a full-time permanent position that will primarily be office-based, with the flexibility to work from home one day each week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver mechanical engineering expertise across Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Metering, and Integrity divisions.
  • Evaluate and improve equipment performance to reduce production inefficiencies.
  • Establish and uphold business maintenance strategies and protocols.
  • Oversee and enhance maintenance effectiveness, minimizing backlogs and unexpected interventions.
  • Effectively manage costs, promoting a cost-aware culture among suppliers and contractors.
  • Utilize electronic maintenance management systems.
  • Conduct Site Assurance Surveys at various operational locations.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to technicians and new team members.
  • Assist in performance testing, assurance, maintenance, and failure analysis of both actuated and non-actuated valves.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree or HNC/HND with 8-10 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas sector or other regulated environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Capability to deliver timely equipment health and performance insights to management.
