Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Delivery Director to lead and manage a programme management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate multiple projects, providing guidance to Project Managers and ensuring PM governance and adherence to assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a programme management team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, providing guidance to Project Managers
  • Liaise with other business functions to align project objectives with business goals
  • Ensure PM governance and adherence to assurance processes
  • Influence and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement tailored PM practices, ensuring continuous improvement and best practices sharing

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Professional Project Management qualifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or an equivalent certification
  • Extensive practical experience in project/programme management, preferably within infrastructure or similar industries
  • Extensive knowledge of PM tools, techniques, and practices
  • Experience in managing large complex programmes in highly regulated environments (Nuclear industries will be advantageous)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
  • Experience in managing and leading through business transformations
