Diagnostic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our team at Listers. As a Diagnostic Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our customers' vehicles, providing outstanding customer support, and collaborating with different departments across the business to achieve goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing. Additionally, they will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment, and will be trained to operate additional systems, such as video reporting.
Responsibilities- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on vehicles, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
- Fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
- Operating additional systems, such as video reporting.
- Completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
- Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification (advantageous but not essential).
- MOT License (beneficial but not essential).
