Role Overview

About the Role

This is a two-form entry school with a Good Ofsted rating that is seeking a Reception Teacher to start immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • An ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £28,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
