About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Leonard Cheshire UK. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to individuals in their daily lives, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily life tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and cleaning.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Escort individuals to external events and appointments, ensuring safe transportation and supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of individual's care and support needs.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work within a rota or participate in an on-call system when required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Benefits
  • Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
