Public Health Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Consultant to join our team at Solos Consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health and experience in developing and implementing population health management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert public health leadership to develop and implement population health management strategies in the Integrated Care System (ICS).
  • Lead the local strategy to improve and reduce inequalities in sexual health population outcomes, including overseeing the public health commissioning of services.
  • Lead the local strategy to improve and reduce inequalities in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery outcomes, including overseeing the public health commissioning of services and leading on the Combatting Drugs Partnership programme.
  • Develop and lead plans to develop the local public health workforce.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure the approach is embedded in relevant strategies and delivery at place in Brighton & Hove.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our established client in Brighton & Hove, contributing to the development of a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life for everyone in the area. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the council, the NHS, the community & voluntary sector, private sector, local communities, and other agencies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, experience in developing and implementing population health management strategies, and excellent leadership and collaboration skills. They will be required to work onsite once a week and will be responsible for identifying, driving, and securing opportunities to improve public health outcomes in Brighton & Hove.
