About the Role:

The Support Engineer will be responsible for the support and commissioning of our range of products. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, this role will involve working with customers via telephone or email to provide customer support, ensuring systems are tested and meet customer specifications prior to shipping, and installing and commissioning systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with customers to provide technical support and resolve issues
• Collaborating with the design team to ensure adequate understanding of the system prior to commissioning
• Creating and carrying out test procedures as defined by the customer
• Investigating problems within the system and diagnosing and repairing faults as required
• Providing technical support to the customer onsite and training customer technical and operations staff as needed

About You:

We are looking for an educated individual with a minimum of HNC level in Electronics or a similar field. You should have the ability to liaise and communicate with external customers in English in a clear and professional manner. A valid passport, full driving license, and the ability to travel are also required.

Key Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work as part of a team
