Surveillance Officer Job Description

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surveillance Officer to join our team. As a Surveillance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our gaming operations and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate gaming activity to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits of gaming assets and surveillance equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
  • Liaise with law enforcement and external regulatory bodies as required.
  • Provide support to management in dealing with gaming disputes and customer complaints.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individual with extensive experience in gaming surveillance.
  • In-depth knowledge of gaming legislation and Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers and senior management.
  • Excellent report writing and computer skills.
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and efficient with administrative tasks.
  • Naturally methodical and attentive to detail.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Clear passion for quality and customer experience.
  • Capable of working independently or collectively.
  • Dynamic, innovative, forward-thinking approach.
  • Must hold a Personal Functional Licence.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in gaming surveillance and/or proven gaming dealing skills.
  • Good working knowledge of CCTV, access, and intruder control systems.
  • Good working knowledge of data management, computer systems, and other forms of electronic media.
