About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi UK. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the management of store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and customer service standards.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and sales growth.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary, up to £43,440*.
  • A flexible 40 or 45-hour contract, with the opportunity to work a 40-hour contract over 4 days.
  • 4 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays (rising to 5 weeks after 2 years).
