Senior Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse/Advisor to join our team at Alliance for Better Care CIC. As a key member of our Occupational Health Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the development and implementation of organisational policies pertaining to Occupational Health.
- Work with the service leads to raise the profile of the service and develop relationships to enhance engagement with the service.
- Regularly review client resources handouts, resource lists, and documental referral pathways.
- Manage own time effectively.
- Implement and deliver inductions/teachingsessions as identified by clients or groups of individuals on various aspects of Occupational Health.
- Assist with ensuring that the Occupational Health Service maintains accurate records and storage for its clients in accordance with legal requirements.
- Take responsibility for personal, professional development, keeping abreast of relevant changes and development of best practice. Ensure knowledge gained is shared with colleagues.
- Assist with the induction and orientation of new Occupational Health staff.
- Act as an effective role model and mentor.
Requirements
- Current registration with the NMC as a registered General Nurse (Adult) or Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Specialist Occupational Health Qualification or equivalent relevant experience of working in the speciality of Occupational Health at a senior level.

About Our Occupational Health Service
Our Occupational Health Service is newly launched and is designed to prioritise employees' health and wellbeing from the moment they start work.
The service caters for both internal staff and external clients and includes the full remit of Occupational Health practice including:
pre-employment medical screening
management referrals, interviews, and examinations
vaccinations including Tetanus / Polio / Diphtheria, Hepatitis B, and MMR
We are currently in a growth phase and our aim is to continue this growth by expanding our dedicated and experienced team in order to continue delivering an exceptional service for our staff and clients.
