Job Overview

Pioneer Selection Ltd is a reputable organisation that consistently secures new contracts, solidifying its position in the market. We are seeking an experienced Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to join our team based in Hackney, Greater London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and repair crane and lifting equipment at client sites to ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate the condition of equipment and make informed decisions regarding future use.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and influence their decisions through effective communication and technical expertise.
  • Work independently, making sound judgments and exercising discretion when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering, or possess relevant experience and qualifications with a willingness to pursue further education.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with various types of crane and lifting equipment, including maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
  • Have a thorough understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
