Job Title: Lighting & Grid Apprentice - Hinckley

We are seeking skilled Street Lighting / Power Engineering Cable Jointer Apprentices to join our UK Energy Infrastructure Solutions business as part of our team.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in engineering and relevant work placements, studies, hobbies or projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance and cable jointing of street lighting systems.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic team focused on efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution & Transmission.
  • Level 2 & 3 NVQ Certificates Highways Electrician & Service Operative, Installation & Maintenance.
  • Power Distribution Engineering Cable Jointing qualifications.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English Language and Science.
  • A passion for engineering demonstrated through relevant work placements, studies, hobbies or projects.

Salary:

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a four-year apprenticeship program that offers hands-on experience, training, and qualifications in power engineering and cable jointing.
