About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary chronic pain team in Lincoln. As an aspiring psychologist, you will have a passion for working in the field of chronic pain management and experience managing a caseload within a physical health setting.

You will provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations, and deliver individual and group interventions as part of our interdisciplinary community-based chronic pain service. You will work alongside nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Your excellent communication and relationship skills will enable you to build strong relationships with local and national clinical stakeholders, including IAPT services, GPs, secondary care, and other clinically important contacts. You will use your knowledge, experience, and skills to provide advice and consultation on psychological aspects of pain management to other health professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will have a British Psychological Society Accredited post-graduate doctoral degree in an applied field of psychology (clinical, health or counselling) and be registered with The Health & Care Professions Council as a 'Practitioner Psychologist'.
