Join our team as a Senior Care Professional and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work as a Care Assistant Manager in our residential home, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home and maintain good standards of professional practice.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the home. You will also be responsible for supervising other staff members and contributing to the development of individual care plans.
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of our residents. If you have a strong passion for care and a willingness to learn and develop, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, plan, and implementation of individual programmes of care for residents
- Monitor and evaluate programmes of care to achieve high standards and provision of a quality service
- Help residents with all aspects of personal care where necessary
- Encourage residents to be as active and independent as possible
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience caring for older people, people with disabilities, or people with mental health needs
- Willingness to achieve competency in administering medications
- Good organisational skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work on own initiative
- Good leadership skills and ability to promote team building measures
