Process and Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Grafton Group plc team, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and implementing operational processes and procedures that drive business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Process Creation and Review:
- Develop and document new operational processes and procedures to meet current business needs and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for process improvement.
- Implement best practices and monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify areas for operational improvements and efficiency that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Analyse tasks and recommend process enhancements to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Customer Service Focus:
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are customer-centric and aim to enhance the customer experience.
Documentation and Training:
- Create comprehensive process documentation and briefing documents for colleagues.
- Conduct training and briefing sessions to ensure colleagues are prepared for changes in procedures.
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all processes comply with legal requirements and are aligned with company policies.
Forward-Thinking Initiatives:
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in process creation, review, and optimisation, preferably within a builder's merchant or related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
