Job Overview

This role involves working with patients who require oncology services, providing supportive care and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care according to established standards and guidelines
  • Effectively manage workload and delegate tasks
  • Lead or participate in nursing teams as required
  • Develop and maintain IV cannulation and venepuncture skills
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Nursing
  • NMC Registration
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in haematology and/or oncology
Skill Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Evidence of problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Adaptable and flexible approach
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
