Job Title: Senior Project Engineer Civils

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the quality and timely delivery of projects to meet the satisfaction of both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver engineering for assigned projects to schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Monitor and support compliance with quality, HSE, and assurance standards.
  • Alert Project Manager in the event of potential delays or changes and support implementation of approved changes.
  • Hold regular reviews to ensure project schedule and budget are met.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and department heads to achieve project objectives.
  • Understand project execution and work sequences, relating this to schedule and budget, and manage and report against these.
  • Monitor and review progress with project controls and engineering disciplines.
  • Review budgets and performance and initiate control measures, including adjustments to manning levels.
  • Prepare and check scope of work specifications, project procedures, and project reports.

Requirements:

  • Prepared to travel to site to support construction execution activities.
  • Onshore construction CDM project experience preferred.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills.
  • Relevant proven experience within engineering and procurement projects for the Process and Energy or Oil and Gas industry.
  • Recognized qualification in an engineering discipline.
