Aberdeen Civil Engineer Job Opportunity

Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our Infrastructure Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage and infrastructure projects for various developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce engineering designs for planning applications, detailed designs, and construction of drainage, highways, and public realm projects.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure Team and Senior Director to support the production of engineering designs.
  • Produce and issue technical drawings for tender and construction purposes in accordance with design standards and quality management procedures.
  • Develop drainage and levels strategies in support of planning applications, including flood risk assessment reports.
Requirements:
  • HNC or BEng Civil Engineering degree.
  • Consultancy or private sector development background with experience working on residential development.
  • Experience with drainage designs, strategies, and flood risk assessment for both private and adoptable works.
  • Experience in the production of technical drawings for tender and construction purposes for various infrastructure projects.
  • Numerate and software literate, including experience with Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
  • Experience in legal, planning, and technical consent, adoption, and contract procedures for drainage design and implementation in new developments and regeneration projects.
