Team Leader Retail Job Description

At Henderson Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our retail team. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading the store team to provide exceptional customer service and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the store team to follow store policies, standards, and practices.
  • Take responsibility for the store in the absence of other leaders, including keyholder responsibility.
  • Be a positive role model to the team and represent our values of Ambition, Customer First, Teamwork, and Integrity.
  • Train, manage the workload, and support your team, while being hands-on in store to ensure the right resources are in place to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Support the Store Manager to maximise store performance, including understanding and implementing the store plan and priorities.
  • Actively promote and get involved in initiatives to support the local community.
Requirements:
  • Previous store retail experience, with at least 6 months at a supervisory level leading a team of people in a customer-focused environment.
  • A natural ability to listen, interact, and communicate with customers and team members.
  • Target driven to help the store achieve its business plans and priorities.
  • Ability to inspire everyone to do their best for each other and the customer.
