About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Advantage Healthcare Limited. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centered care and support to clients with spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and other complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to our policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care, preferably in a community or home care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
- Enhanced DBS check and access to a vehicle (due to geographical location of role).
