Job Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Omega Leeds is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment, including PLC controlled machinery and automation systems.
  • Conduct fault-finding and diagnosis to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of production lines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline, with a focus on electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of automation systems and production line operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
