Job Title: Compensation Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Accounting Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our Group Compensation Accounting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of payroll data is maintained within our internal systems through our monthly reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Validate and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  2. Monitor and reconcile payroll-related accounts to ensure accurate recording of payroll transactions in the general ledger.
  3. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in payroll data, including incorrect pay or benefits allocations.
  4. Collaborate with HR teams globally to ensure accurate processing and posting of share and fund award exercises.
  5. Identify and implement ways to streamline processes to minimize manual intervention.
  6. Work closely with the HR and cash reconciliation function to ensure proper allocation of inbound and outbound payments.
  7. Assist Manager to review and update procedures, implement improvements, and enforce stringent controls.
  8. Prepare monthly payroll journals for UK, America, and APAC regions.
  9. Prepare payroll correction journals, including intercompany recharges for cross-border payments.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in a Finance or reconciliations function.
  2. Qualification in Finance or Accounting.
  3. Strong Excel knowledge is a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience of Oracle Fusion / SDWorx.
  2. Experience of Financial Services.
