About the Role

The Business Intelligence (BI) service is committed to leveraging the Council's data in innovative ways to drive insight and intelligence in the Council's operations and service delivery. As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will play a key role in leading the management, maintenance, and development of applications within Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities include leading on development, assurance, data quality, data security, best practice, and reusable components. You will be responsible for developing complex applications that contribute significantly to increasing automation within services. This role will be at the forefront of transformation for the organisation, working on high-profile projects to develop applications that deliver significant value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, maintain, and enhance existing applications developed using MS PowerApps and Power Pages.
  • Lead on the development of new complex Power App applications incorporating Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Oversee and lead CRM development services and mentor other software development staff on MS Power Platform technologies.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to undertake development, testing, and implementation of MS applications to meet specific project requirements.
  • Lead the resolution of technology issues arising in delivery and operation of applications developed on MS Power Platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to build comprehensive requirements, aligning with business needs.
