About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will work with children with a variety of SEN, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, to assist them with their behaviour and help them develop life skills.

The role will involve outdoor activities and is not strictly classroom based. You will work with children who have experienced early life trauma and require support to manage their behaviour.

We have several positions available in busy primary schools and purpose-built alternative provisions. Each school offers support and resources to ensure you can complete your role to the best of your ability.

About You

You don't necessarily need to have school-based experience. Sports graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, and care workers are also welcome to apply. We are seeking passionate individuals who have a desire to support children with challenging behaviour.

  • Location: Trafford
  • Position: Behaviour Support Worker
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Full time/part-time: Part time / Full Time both available
  • Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day

**Eligibility Criteria**

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy. Ideally, you will already have a full DBS on the update service but if not, we can process a new one.
