Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team at Eka Finance.

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for developing systematic strategies and coming up with new ideas for high to mid-frequency trading signals.

You will ideally have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science, and a Master's or PhD degree is highly desirable.

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional analytical capabilities, a real passion for developing trading strategies, and a strong programming skills in Python or Rust.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of having a scientific approach to analysing real-world problems and large amounts of empirical data, and be comfortable working with Linux/Unix, AWS, Git, and Docker.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop systematic strategies for high to mid-frequency trading signals
  • Design and implement trading algorithms using Python or Rust
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement trading strategies

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science
  • Strong research skills and experience using sophisticated mathematical tools
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Rust
  • Track record of having a scientific approach to analysing real-world problems and large amounts of empirical data
  • Comfortable working with Linux/Unix, AWS, Git, and Docker
