We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic cook to join our Bank Catering Team at Chestnut Tree House, a children's hospice providing specialist palliative care. The ideal candidate will have good all-round cooking skills, a love of baking, and the ability to work well in a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritional meals, working to planned menus and children/young people's individual needs, and liaising with care staff as required. They will also assist with general cleaning duties, maintain kitchen and cooking areas in a clean and safe condition, and cater for dietary and allergy requirements.
As a member of our team, you will need to be flexible, have a team-oriented approach, and be comfortable working in a hospice environment. Shifts will be offered to cover annual leave/sickness, and access to your own transport is essential due to the remote location.
