At CRC Evans, we are seeking a skilled Branded Medical Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, pricing, and suppliers in the pipe welding and coating industry across the EMEAA regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and suppliers in the pipe welding and coating industry
  • Perform cost analyses to determine the most cost-effective procurement strategies
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support the centralized procurement team in developing and implementing procurement strategies
  • Identify procurement risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
  • Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure contractual obligations are being met
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to manage procurement budgets
  • Analyze spend data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes
  • Provide procurement support for major projects
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their needs
  • Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to ethical standards and company policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE (including Mathematics and English Language)
  • Engineering / Electrical qualifications an advantage but not essential
  • Professional Certifications (Preferred): CIPS, CPSM, PMP or MSC in Supply Chain & logistics
  • Proven experience in supply chain or logistics roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry
  • Extensive experience in using ERP systems, specifically SAP or SAP S/4Hana
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel, Power BI) to analyze procurement data and support decision-making
