Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Corporate Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and review of corporate documents, including articles of association, share purchase agreements, and memorandum of association.
  • Conduct due diligence on corporate transactions, including reviewing financial statements, contracts, and other relevant documents.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance matters, including board composition, executive remuneration, and shareholder rights.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored advice on corporate law matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular communication and updates on their matters.

Requirements

  • Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales, with a minimum of 6 months of post-qualification experience in corporate law.
  • Strong academic record, with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Law or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
