Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our team in delivering a complex baggage system design project at Stansted Airport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, or construction, with experience in managing projects from RIBA stage 3 to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project from RIBA stage 3 through to delivery, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Deliver the baggage system design project, working closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Work with the team to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including airport authorities, contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the aviation or construction industry.
  • Strong engineering or construction background, with knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to understand and interpret capacity modeling to ensure appropriate capacity is delivered.
  • Experience with NEC contracts and project management software.
