Senior Planning Director Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planning Director to join a family-owned property company at the forefront of specialist property development.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Design & Planning Director and other Senior Planning Managers to manage key projects from site purchase to planning approval and discharge of planning conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading specific teams in the Planning & Design Department and external consultants
  • Submitting planning applications in line with the Initial Scheme Report and Programme and Cost Plan
  • Participating in Weekly Planning Meetings and reporting against projects
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of existing and changes to planning and other legislation

Requirements:

  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related field of study/qualification
  • Demonstrable previous experience in a similar planning role, both public and private sector backgrounds considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as impeccable report writing
