**Job Summary**

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Administrator to join our team. As a Sales Support Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our field sales organization, ensuring seamless communication with our customers and internal stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide day-to-day commercial contact for customers, understanding their requirements and generating quotes
  • Process orders and initiate orders for equipment, ensuring timely delivery
  • Manage minor escalations through to our Customer Service team, resolving issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate customer details in our Salesforce system
  • Assist field sales in scheduling client visits, ensuring smooth sales processes
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and document management

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in working in a sales environment or customer services environment is essential
  • Knowledge of IT products and services is desired, with basic knowledge of the IT Services/Technology industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential
  • Ability to calculate sales margins from cost prices
  • Capacity to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and working relationships with customers and colleagues
