Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Kidderminster. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role and possess excellent technical skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and facilities across two sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing PPM schedules to prevent equipment downtime
  • Fault-finding and repairing PLC-controlled production machinery
  • Providing technical support to the manufacturing team
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime
  • Maintaining facilities, including installation of new production machinery when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Proven track record of working to PPM schedules
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
