Supporting Children's Education in a Gloucestershire Primary School

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant at a Good primary school in Gloucester. As a key member of the Year 1 class, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a UK school, preferably in a primary setting, and a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as a positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children's education.

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Year 1 teacher to deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
  • Assist with classroom organization, preparation of resources, and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
