This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping the sales strategy, and managing a high-performing sales team.

The Role:

As the Head of Sales, you will oversee the entire sales department, develop and execute the overall sales strategy, and collaborate closely with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with the company's broader objectives. You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and focus on identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a visionary sales leader who can take ownership of the sales process and deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability
  • Set clear sales objectives, KPIs, and targets, and ensure they are met or exceeded
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand into new markets, and build long-term client relationships
  • Manage key accounts and develop strategies for customer retention and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to refine strategies and optimize performance
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead generation, conversion, and deal closure
  • Report regularly to the executive team on sales performance, market opportunities, and growth strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing sales teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Experience in CRM systems and sales performance tools
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with senior management and influence business direction
