About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join our team at North Thames Genomics Laboratory Hub. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with children, young people and families in a variety of settings.

Key Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Suffolk's Children's Homes by embedding a trauma and psychologically informed culture. This includes facilitating reflective practice groups, training and formulation sessions for staff, and working with management teams to review and embed practice developments.

You will also be responsible for assessing and managing risk with children and young people, as well as evaluating the impact of work on staff teams. The ideal candidate will have experience of mental health practice with children, young people and families.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree in clinical psychology accredited by BPS
  • Registered as a Practitioner psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Additional therapeutic qualification, training or experience
