About the Role
Care & Custody - A Mitie Company is seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team. As a Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering healthcare to detainees in custody suites, working in collaboration with the Police to ensure the safety and well-being of those in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality healthcare to detainees in custody suites
- Work closely with the Police to ensure the safety and well-being of detainees
- Provide training and support to colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with dual registration
- Paramedic qualification
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field
- Driving licence
- Right to work in the UK, lived in the UK for 3 years, and held a British passport or ILR for 3 years with no gaps out of the country for more than 3 months
- Police vetting
