We are seeking a skilled Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at Care & Custody - A Mitie Company. As a dynamic and innovative healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to redirect your career and pursue a challenging and rewarding role in the criminal justice system.
Job Summary
This role involves delivering healthcare to detainees in custody suites, working in collaboration with the Police to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals in our care. We are committed to providing round-the-clock coverage and a schedule agreed upon with our client.
Main Responsibilities
As a certified nurse or paramedic, you will be responsible for providing exemplary care to detainees, working in a team environment to achieve our vision of delivering high-quality healthcare. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical, forensic, and broader skills, and pursue a career within the criminal justice system.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per year, with opportunities for progression and extensive training. You will also receive a £1000 bonus when completed 12 months service, as well as a range of benefits including a Blue Lightcard, Mitie MiDeals, and Health and wellbeing benefits.
Person Specification
We are looking for a qualified nurse or paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role. You will need to have a driving licence, be able to work in the UK, and have a British Passport or ILR for 3 years with no gaps out of country more than 3 months. All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
