We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrator to join our team at Watling Street Network PCN. As a Clinical Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our primary care network.
Main Responsibilities- Clinical Information Management
- Identify and extract relevant clinical information from patient correspondence
- Code or free-text clinical information onto patient records
- Respond to queries related to coding and clinical information
- Prescription Coordination
- Coordinate and prepare repeat prescriptions for patients
- Enter data onto patient records
- Use the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) to manage prescriptions
- Communicate with patients and community pharmacies regarding prescription-related matters
- Administrative Support
- Provide efficient typing and word processing services for healthcare professionals
- Assist the business manager with administrative duties
- Make appointments, bookings, and admissions as required
- File patient records and correspondence
- Essential Experience
- Experience with Clinical Read Coding or working in primary care
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong literacy and computer skills
- Experience with clinical IT systems
