Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Recruit Mint Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and installation services for specialist packaging equipment used in the food industry.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Provide maintenance and installation services for specialist protein-based packaging equipment in the M5 corridor region.
  2. Work on a combination of planned and reactive maintenance, with approximately 80% of work planned and 20% reactive.
  3. Act as the primary representative of our company while on customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
  4. Evaluate customer needs, define their expectations, and plan and organize service, maintenance, or installation work to meet their requirements.
  5. Evaluate, troubleshoot, and recommend repairs or replacement of systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  6. Provide customers with detailed instructions for, perform, and coordinate installations, maintenance, testing, and corrective actions to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in maintaining or servicing process, packaging, or similar equipment is essential.
  2. Mechanical and electrical skills are required, with a strong understanding of pneumatic or hydraulic systems.

Benefits

  1. A very competitive salary, with a base salary of £45,000 plus overtime and bonus, resulting in an OTE of £55,000-£60,000.
  2. A company car that can be used for personal use, providing flexibility and convenience.
  3. Overtime and yearly bonus, with a bonus worth 10% of the base salary, providing additional financial rewards.
