Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission new machinery, ensuring all electrical, electronic, and mechanical work is completed to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing machinery, following all relevant Health & Safety procedures and testing to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and manuals, to ensure customers can effectively maintain their machinery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest machine models by attending manufacturer training sessions, ensuring high standards of technical support are available from the date of new machine launches.
  • Work independently, manage tasks proactively, and make decisions with minimal supervision, while maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
Person Specification:
  • Demonstrated experience and a proven track record in working with high-precision machinery, ideally CNC lathes or metal cutting machinery.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
  • Solid electrical skills with experience in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and ladder logic programming.
  • Proficient in reading, interpreting, and fully understanding technical documentation, including schematics and manuals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks proactively, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
What We Offer:
  • Circa 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
  • Company car typically a BMW 330e.
  • Pension up to 6% matched.

  • Bonuses: Company performance bonus paid annually, bonus for every machine sold paid monthly.
