Soldering Technician Vacancy

A prominent engineering company in Norwich is seeking an experienced Soldering Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and sub-assemblies.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in soldering, crimping, lacing, and splicing, as well as familiarity with cable production techniques. PCB Assembly experience is desirable.

Job Summary:

  • Assemble and wire cables, harnesses, and sub-assemblies
  • Install and connect wiring harnesses into assembled units
  • Work to engineering drawings, specifications, and guides

Requirements:

  • Experience in soldering, crimping, lacing, and splicing
  • Familiarity with cable production techniques
  • PCB Assembly experience (desirable)
  • NVQ/City & Guilds level 3 in a relevant discipline (desirable)

Salary: Competitive (£25,000 - £35,000 per annum), depending on experience, plus 5 weeks' holiday, company pension, and free parking.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:00pm and Friday 8:15am-12:45pm
