Dining Establishment Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a kitchen porter at The Glen Tavern. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
About the RoleAs a kitchen porter, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing all meal preparation areas, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors, washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils, and cooking equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food health and safety regulations, and working effectively as part of a team.
Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A food handler's license is also necessary.
- Prior experience working in commercial kitchen environments is essential.
- You must possess a strong understanding of food health and safety regulations and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $30,000-$40,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This estimate may vary based on location, but we aim to provide a fair and attractive compensation package for the right candidate.
