We are seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Actuarial Graduate Trainee to join our well-established actuarial trainee programme at Royal London. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the actuarial profession and develop a deep understanding of the industry.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum plus bonus, with further increments on successful completion of exams. In addition, we offer a generous pension scheme (up to 14% matching) and life assurance (up to x8 salary). You will also be entitled to 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days.

Job Description

You will complete a number of assignments of around eighteen-months each, translating complex financial or mathematical insight into outcomes that deliver for our customers. You could be working on everything from valuation (modelling) and pricing, through to assessing risk on climate change, or analysing mergers and acquisition opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recently qualified graduate with the ability to start no later than September 2025.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders across the business.
  • Intellectually curious, adaptable to change and not afraid to share new ideas and question the status quo.
