AECOM is a leading global infrastructure consulting firm delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges. As a Senior Marine Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping the environmental performance of marine development projects.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marine Consultant to support our growing portfolio of high-profile marine projects. This role involves providing expertise on environmental inputs across various marine projects, ensuring quality and compliance with rigorous quality management procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Expertise: Support the management of environmental inputs across a diverse range of marine projects, including coordination of EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting assessments and documents.
- Ensure Quality: Ensure that deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards and comply with our quality management procedures.
- Project Management: Make effective use of project management skills to manage resources and budgets.
- Collaborate: Work as part of an integrated team to improve environmental outcomes of projects, identify environmental constraints, impact avoidance and mitigation solutions, and opportunities to deliver benefits.
- Client Contact: Support senior staff with client relationships, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Comprehensive EIA consultancy experience, with proven skills in managing environmental reports and technical reviews.
- A suitable understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes around the UK.
- The ability to support collaborative teams, coordinating inputs from technical specialists.
- Project management skills and willingness to develop through continued learning.
- A commitment to innovation and continuing professional development.
- Efficient verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing, and confidence when engaging with stakeholders.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: National team based across the UK, with flexible hybrid working model.
