About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing surveying activities for marine projects, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage surveying activities for marine projects, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of surveyors, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop survey plans and determine the scope, objectives, and methods required for accurate data collection.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and consistent data collection.
- Determine appropriate surveying techniques, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanning.
- Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, contractors, and other engineering-related professionals to integrate survey data into construction processes.
- Manage survey budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork to ensure the well-being of surveying teams and site personnel.
- Prepare and present survey reports, maps, and data visualizations for client review and project documentation.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
Requirements
- Strong experience in marine works.
- Fluency in software programs related to survey and bathymetry.
- Master quantities (land and marine).
- Data analysis and statistical methods knowledge.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
