Community Health Specialist

As a key member of the NELFT NHS Foundation Trust team, you will be working in a diverse community setting, enabling you to develop knowledge and skills around differing cultural perspectives while delivering high-quality nursing care.
The role involves working with patients in their own homes and residential care homes, providing individualized care under the supervision of a Senior Nurse. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a complex and rewarding environment, with a wide spectrum of healthcare challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse (Part 1) registered with the NMC, with evidence of continuing professional development. Experience of working in a community team and knowledge of primary care are desirable criteria.
This role offers a comprehensive induction and local preceptorship programme, making it an ideal opportunity for students and newly qualified nurses to develop their skills and knowledge.
