Maintenance Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Dove & Hawk in Brixton. As a key member of our Property Development and Residential Lettings team, you will be responsible for managing a team of four, overseeing day-to-day operations, and reporting to the Head of Property Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of four, including two maintenance co-ordinators and two in-house maintenance contractors
  • Cover maintenance co-ordinators' roles when they are off sick or on annual leave
  • Organise contractors and works for bi-annual servicing
  • Deal with maintenance complaints
  • Source new contractors
  • Sign off large invoices
  • Carry out weekly maintenance meetings

Requirements:

  • Proven management experience within the property industry
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to multitask and work accurately and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • ARLA qualification would be ideal but not essential

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
