About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in providing speech and language therapy to children and young people with speech, language and communication difficulties and Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidate will work within the schools speech and language therapy team, managing a caseload of children and young people with support from a senior therapist. A significant proportion of these children will be bilingual, requiring the ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.

The post holder will provide speech and language therapy to a designated caseload of children, developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to meet the needs of each child. They will also work collaboratively with children, young people, parents and carers, as well as colleagues in health, education and social services to ensure effective service delivery.

Key skills and qualifications required for this role include a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification, Health Care Professions Council registration, and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. Experience working with children and young people with speech, language and communication difficulties is essential.

Salary: £34,521 - £41,956 per annum including HCAS

Location: Alexandra Avenue Health and Social Care Centre
