About the Role

This Public Health Practitioner position is based with the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's Public Health Team in North Wales. The successful candidate will work in a range of areas including health, social care, education, and community settings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partner organisations to deliver public health initiatives and projects.
  • Travel across North Wales for face-to-face meetings with stakeholders and service users.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will hold a First degree or equivalent qualification, with a strong understanding of health policy context and health promotion programme areas.

  • A basic knowledge of public health policy/strategies is essential.
  • Masters in Public Health/Health Promotion or relevant experience in Public Health/Health Promotion is highly desirable.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and registration with the UK Public Health Register are also highly valued.
Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
