We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across Audit & Accounts, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Manage audits from planning to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
- Prepare accounts for Limited companies, as well as corporation tax returns, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Lead a portfolio of clients, from resource planning to WIP and budget management, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the go-to point of contact for support and guidance.
- Deliver commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development and providing suggestions to leadership.
- Present work to senior managers, completing files to a high standard and meeting deadlines.
- Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance, ensuring our clients are always up-to-date with the latest regulations.
- Handle compliance queries from clients, acting as the main point of contact and delivering clear communications.
- Assist with pitching to new clients and attending networking opportunities, championing new business for the firm.
- Delegate work to, and mentor new trainees, supporting their learning and development.
- Set an example for the team as a natural senior member, inspiring and motivating others to achieve their best.

What's On Offer- A competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum.
